Hopefully, the new 2018
Nissan Altima will be as good as promised – or expected by Nissan. After all,
there has been too much going on lately and Altima is out of the scheme for
such a certain period. It would be a good thing if Nissan can plan a good
comeback for the Altima although they should also remember that they are
dealing with quite a lot of impressive competitors.
Although crossovers have
been popular these years, there is no denial that a good sedan will also make a
huge impression and impact. Too bad that Altima has lost its charm many years
ago – so long ago that even the updates happening in 2013 couldn’t really do
much for the line. With Mazda 6 as one of the competitors – or Malibu with its
impressive features – it is pretty understandable why it is hard for Nissan to
become a winner in this competition. But now, they have the plan for 2018
Nissan Altima in store – and hopefully, the real production is just as good as
predicted and planned by them.
2018 Nissan Altima and the Right Launching Time
Yes, crossovers may be the
favorite line for today but it will be different in years from now, especially
after 2020. For now, the fuel price in America will go steady but it will
change after 2020. When the price rises, the crossover owners will have
difficult times coping with the increased price. But sedan owners like Altima
can still smile fondly – and even drive in confidence and comfort – with the
sedan. It seems that they have chosen the right time – just like Camry and
Accord with their release and redesign plan.
2018 Nissan Altima Construction Plan
For the current model, it is
based on the D-platform which is also used in Maxima. But for the new 2018
Nissan Altima, the platform may change. It is unclear what Nissan will do about
it but they are trying to figure out the right platform for the NVH level.
Rumor has it that the new Altima will be coming with a new chassis but there
hasn’t been any solid. But no matter whatever platform used for the new model,
the dimension will likely be the same – the size and base price. It is likely
that the new one still has the $23,000 tag price.
2018 Nissan Altima Design
With the new Altima, Nissan
is planning a combination look of a sedan and also a coupe. A lot of auto
enthusiasts are skeptical whether it will be the best arrangement for the new
Altima but if Nissan is confident enough about the 2018 Nissan Altima, it seems
that they have planned the best.
